Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel and drive for the journey to the Masai Mara. Drive through the agriculturally rich central highlands of Kenya with stopover at the escarpment to view the magnificent East African Great Rift Valley. Descend to the floor of the escarpment to continue on to the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in search for animals. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Whole day spent at Masai Mara exploring the vastness of this wildlife haven Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras dominates the scene while Antelopes, Warthogs, Wildebeests form formidable numbers. Masai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife per squire kilometre than any other park in the region. During the months of July to late September is when the migration of the wildebeest takes place from Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. An optional local Masai Village visit can be arranged. All meals and overnight at the Camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara
Whole day spent with game drives in this fabulous park. This day, there would be an option of Balloon Safari, you will be taken to the balloon at 7.am,and the ride takes an hour, upon landing you will be served with Champaign breakfast, and the driver will be waiting for you. If you want to continue, with the game drive, you will continue, alternatively you will be taken to the camp, for a short rest, and then you proceed with a game drive later on.
Meals at the camp.
Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Pre-breakfast game drive, game drive after breakfast. Afterwards depart for L. Nakuru, you will have Lunch at a stopover hotel in Narok, whereby you can admire the Masai’s walking around. Later on depart for Nakuru arriving in the afternoon during this day you will not enter the park). Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
After an early breakfast, enjoy a long game drive around the Lake and into the National Park. The Lake Nakuru hosts the world’s largest concentration of Flamingoes which canopy the edge of this alkaline Rift Valley. The park also hosts Lions, Giraffe, Warthog, Leopard, Antelopes etc. Picnic lunch. After lunch, short games drive and later on depart for Nairobi.
